Common questions about Session Pulse, how it works, and how to get started.
Session Pulse is an AI that reads $SPY across the five intraday windows that matter most — pre-market, the AM open, the midday turn, the closing-bell window (3:50–4:00 PM ET), and after hours. Each window gets a purpose-built brief: levels, dealer positioning, scenarios, and a calibrated 0DTE idea (including an explicit NO TRADE when the tape isn’t readable).
$SPY only — intentionally. Pulse is built around the deepest, most liquid US equity tape and its 0DTE options chain. Singular focus is the feature.
The brief reads /ES futures, the SPY options chain (GEX, max pain), VIX, yields, dollar, oil, and sector breadth as inputs — but every trade idea is a $SPY 0DTE call or put.
Pulse's probability engine analyzes multiple confluence factors in real time -- market structure (support/resistance, order flow), volume profile, options flow and gamma exposure, macro context, and historical pattern data. Each setup is assigned a probability score from 0-100 based on how many factors align and how strongly they confirm the directional bias.
A higher score doesn't mean "guaranteed win." It means more data points are confirming the setup, which historically correlates with better outcomes. We always recommend using probability as one input in your decision-making process, never the only one.

Pulse's analysis engine processes market data and generates signals in near real-time. Typical end-to-end latency from data ingestion to signal output is under 2 seconds. For 0DTE and scalping setups where timing matters, we prioritize speed without sacrificing analytical depth.
Latency can vary based on market conditions and data volume, especially around major economic releases and market open/close.
No. Pulse is designed to be used by traders, not developers. The interface presents analysis, setups, and signals in a clear, visual format. No code, no API keys, no terminal commands required.
That said, if you're a developer, we'll be offering API access in a future release for those who want to integrate Pulse's signals into their own systems.
Session Pulse is currently a standalone analysis tool -- it does not connect directly to your brokerage account. You use Pulse to identify and evaluate setups, then execute trades manually through your preferred broker.
We're exploring broker integrations for future releases. If you have a broker you'd like to see supported, let us know in the Discord.
Pricing is not finalized yet. We're currently in early access / beta and working closely with the community to determine the right pricing model. Our goal is to keep it accessible -- institutional-grade analysis shouldn't require an institutional budget.

Yes — the Scout tier is free and includes the Pre-Market brief and a daily SPY auction summary. The four other session briefs (AM, Afternoon, Closing Bell, After Hours), real-time Discord posts, and the calibrated 0DTE trade ideas require a paid plan.
The fastest way to get early access is through the Veal.Trade Discord community. Active community members and beta testers get priority access to new features and releases. You can also join the waitlist on our main page.
Five briefs per session day, one for each window:
Each brief is purpose-built for that window — not a generic recap retitled five times.
Pulse is built for the session, not the swing. Every brief is timestamped for a specific window and the trade ideas are 0DTE.
That said, the Pre-Market and Closing Bell briefs include weekly value-area context and the next session’s likely setup — useful as input for a swing decision, even if Pulse isn’t the one making it.
